Documents opened in RETU are processed locally on your device unless a feature explicitly states otherwise. RETU does not require an account to use its core reading features.

Information stored on your device
RETU may store certain information locally on your device to support app functionality, including:
- Recent documents
- Playback position
- Bookmarks
- Selected voice and playback settings
- Exported audio files that you choose to create
Speech models and voices
If RETU downloads speech models or voice files, those downloads are used only to enable on-device narration features requested by the user.
Personal data
RETU Studio does not sell your personal data.
